3D Printed Grade Polycaprolactone
Coated Grade PLA
PCL has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -60°C, which makes it very soft and highly stretchable; its melting point is between 58-63°C, allowing it to be molded at low temperatures.
The melting temperature of PCL is much lower than commonly used 3D printing materials such as PLA and ABS, which both have melting temperatures above 200°C. This means that the majority of 3D printers based on FDM technology can easily print PCL with a low hot-end temperature.
It is mainly suitable for low-temperature molding plastic materials.
-
Biocompatibility: non-toxic skin-friendly, can be compatible with biological cells in vivo / in vitro, and has no irritation to human skin. -
Good processability: It has good compatibility with TPU and is suitable for conventional FDM line processing equipment. Add color masterbatch to get multiple colors. -
Printing safety: The temperature of the melt material is low during printing, it will not burn the skin, and no irritating gas will be generated. The finished product is flexible, not hard, and the molded parts are not dangerous. -
Reusability: The "work" after 3D printing can also be used as a manual model material. After heating in warm water, it is similar to "plasticine" and can be kneaded by hand. -
Biodegradability: In the soil and water environment, the compost environment can be completely decomposed into CO2 and H2O in 6-12 months.
