Bio-based Materials Powering Sustainable Development: eSUN Successfully Concludes 2025 CHINAPLAS Journey!

From April 15-18, 2025, the CHINAPLAS International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition was successfully held in Shenzhen, attracting a multitude of visitors and exhibitors worldwide for this grand industry event!

Biomaterials are empowering sustainable development. Building on our first-mover advantages in biomaterial synthesis, modification, application and recycling, eSUN showcased its environmentally friendly polylactic acid (PLA)-based materials and their downstream application ecosystems at this exhibition, including ecological fiber applications, eco-friendly packaging solutions, and 3D printing applications, which attracted numerous domestic and international visitors to its booth for exchanges.

Bio-based polylactic acid (PLA) fibers combine functionality with sustainability, garnering significant attention from textile manufacturers and end brands in the context of sustainable development.

 

In the apparel industry, eSUN has developed garments using "PLA+viscose," "PLA+cotton," and "PLA+wool" blends. PLA fibers offer three key benefits: skin-friendly properties, antibacterial/odor-control effects, and moisture-wicking/quick-drying performance—delivering superior user experiences.

 

Beyond textiles, PLA fibers are widely applicable in non-woven sectors including hygiene products, home textiles, filter paper, geotextiles, and agricultural materials. At this exhibition, eSUN showcased products like diapers, sanitary pads, cotton towels, packaging bags, tea sachets, coffee filters, and geotextiles, which attracted strong interest from global clients.

At the "Top 10 Technology Trends Case Selection 2025" event hosted by "Adsale Plastics Network," Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co., Ltd. (brand "eSUN") won the "Innovation Award" for its technology case—an intelligent manufacturing platform for flexible polymer materials in footwear based on cloud computing, recognized for its advantages in smart manufacturing.
