Launch of PV power generation! eSUN will create a Green Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park

Recently, eSUN Industrial Co., Ltd. successfully completed its first PV power generation project in the Xiaogan Park, with plans to officially connect it to the grid by the end of the month.

The project involves building distributed PV power generation stations across three buildings in the factory area, covering a total area of 7,868㎡, with a designed capacity of approximately 1.68MW. The power station operates under a “self-consumption with excess power fed to the grid” model, where the electricity generated on weekdays is consumed by the park, and surplus electricity during holidays or rest periods is fed back into the grid.

Once operational, the project will significantly improve energy efficiency at eSUN’s Xiaogan Park, facilitate the transition to renewable energy, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and inject green energy into the company’s development.

Compared to traditional coal-fired power plants, PV power generation reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 0.997kg per kilowatt-hour generated. The eSUN PV power generation project is expected to generate 2 million kW·h annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 199 tons per year.

In addition to reducing emissions, the project utilizes idle rooftop space on factory buildings, operates silently and without pollution. The solar panels on the rooftops provide both economic and environmental benefits, help prevent roof aging, offer significant insulation, lower factory temperatures, and further reduce energy consumption, helping the company meet its energy-saving and emission reduction goals.
