Polylactic acid copolymer PLCL (copolymerized modified polylactic acid eCo-PLA) is a polymer material obtained by copolymerizing L-lactide and other monomers. Through copolymerization modification, PLCL can effectively control the melting point, transparency, toughness, and heat resistance of polylactic acid, and make up for the deficiency of blending modification.

In addition to its application in catering, packaging and other industries, biodegradable injection plastic has also expanded its application in medical packaging materials. It can be used to make environmentally friendly and biodegradable COVID-19 test kits. In the long run, it is of great significance for ecological environment protection and green and healthy economic development.

Since 2021, some civil aviation enterprises have started the upgrading of disposable plastic products in the aviation industry. In December 2021, eSUN won the bid in two projects related to biodegradable plastics of China Southern Airlines, helping the green development of the civil aviation industry.

Most of the coatings used to make paper cups are polyethylene (PE) plastic coatings, which have high heat resistance at 80°C, which can meet the needs of most application scenarios, but it does not have natural degradation characteristics, resulting in these Non-toxic paper cups neither break down in landfills nor can they be recycled.
