From May 22-24, the Asian Nonwovens Fabric Exhibition will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taiwan!

This exhibition, along with the IDEA  sponsored by the American Nonwoven Fabric Manufacturers Association and the INDEX sponsored by the European Nonwoven Fabric Association, is listed as one of the world's three major nonwoven fabric exhibitions.

eSUN focuses on the industrialization of environmentally friendly materials and will showcase PLA fibers, non-woven fabrics, and their applications in various fields (Booth No. J1202). Please look forward to it!

Overall, PLA fibers and their non-woven fabrics combine the advantages of natural fibers and synthetic fibers, possessing a weak acidity similar to human skin, natural skin-friendliness, antibacterial, anti-mite, anti-allergy properties, with good moisture permeability, smoothness, breathability, and a glossy appearance. Additionally, textile products made from PLA fibers have the characteristic of being self-extinguishing, ensuring high safety in use. PLA fibers and non-woven fabrics are gaining increasing attention and favor.

eSUN's PLA fibers come from nature and can return to nature. Under normal temperature and humidity, PLA fibers and their products are quite stable. In natural environments with certain temperatures and humidity (such as sand, silt and seawater), PLA will be completely degraded by microorganisms into carbon dioxide and water. If PLA fibers are buried in the soil, they naturally degrade within 2-3 years; if mixed with organic waste and buried, they decompose within a few months.

PLA product waste under industrial composting conditions (temperature 58°C, humidity 98%, and microbial conditions) will completely decompose into carbon dioxide and water within 3-6 months, demonstrating excellent environmental benefits.

eSUN's PLA fibers have passed the German DIN compostable certification and the American BPI biodegradable certification.

About eSUNFiber

Currently, eSUNFiber has one 10,000 tons/year melt-spun polylactic acid fiber production line, one 1,000 tons/year polylactic acid hot air non-woven fabric production line, and three functional polylactic acid fiber production lines. Among them, the three functional polylactic acid fiber production lines have an annual capacity of 5,000 tons and can produce various differentiated products such as three-dimensional curled fibers, dual-component PLA fibers, profiled fiber, polylactic acid yarn, and solution-dyed polylactic acid fibers.

eSUNFiber's polylactic acid fibers and non-woven fabrics have successfully passed the compost degradation test certification by DIN CERTCO (German Standards Association Certification Center). Regarding product safety, eSUNFiber's PLA non-woven fabric products have passed skin sensitization tests, ensuring product safety performance! Additionally, after testing by professional institutions, eSUNFiber's polylactic acid fibers have shown good antibacterial effects.
